Art Tatum Memorial
The Arts Commission, in partnership with the Toledo Sculptor’s Guild and the Toledo Jazz Society, including a variety of community partners, convened a committee to commission a memorial to honor local jazz legend Art Tatum. Extensive community input has been obtained, including the Tatum family members.
The memorial will be sited at Promenade Park to maximize visibility and leverage infrastructure costs.
