The following agencies identify grant sources or offer funding support for artists, arts organizations or other artistic activities. This list is not a comprehensive list of granting organizations but rather a starting point of major organizations that can assist with your funding pursuits.
Toledo Lucas County Library, Downtown Branch
The Grants Center provides assistance in identifying granting sources. The library also partners with the United Way to provide grants research and writing workshops throughout the year.

The Ohio Arts Council
The Ohio Arts Council is a state agency that funds and supports quality arts experiences to strengthen Ohio communities culturally, educationally and economically. With funds from the Ohio Legislature and the National Endowment for the Arts, the OAC provides financial assistance to artists and arts organizations.
The National Endowment for the Arts
The National Endowment for the Arts is a public agency dedicated to supporting excellence in the arts, both new and established; bringing the arts to all Americans; and providing leadership in arts education. Established by Congress in 1965 as an independent agency of the federal government, the Endowment is the nation’s largest annual funder of the arts, bringing great art to all 50 states, including rural areas, inner cities and military bases.
