History and Concept artNET 1.0 artNET 2.0

As the second artNET initiative, and an important location with the potential to link Downtown Toledo and East Toledo, the Summit and Cherry intersection was included in the jury process that also selected the Lafayette, Erie and Anthony Wayne Trail intersection finalists.

Four finalists were selected for artNET 2.0:

  • Martin Felsen and Sarah Dunn [Urban Lab] with Christine Tarkowski and Chandra Goldsmith [Chandra Goldsmith Landscape Architect]
  • Lisa Iwamoto and Craig Scott [Iwamoto Scott Architecture] with Raveevam Choksombatchi [VeeV] and Front, Inc.
  • Kuth Ranieri Architects with Rodolphe El-Khoury [ReK Productions] and Ned Kahn
  • Brian McGrath [Urban-Interface] with Leni Schwendinger [Light Projects], Steward Pickett, and Mary Cadenasso
